Q: Are my card details safe when I place an order with ebulbshop.com? A: Yes totally safe. All our checkout pages are secured with industrial standard 128 bit encryption which has never been hacked and additionally our site has been verified by Geotrust. Look for the Golden Padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen in the checkout and click on it for details.
Your card details are far less safe when used in a shop or restaurant. Q: Have you got the bulbs I want in stock? A: Very occaisionally we may find ourselves out of stock of a particular bulb or fitting but with 95% availability, this is very unusual.
Q: I want a VAT invoice A: No problem, you can ask for a VAT invoice at any time - just email customerservice@ebulbshop.com
Q: I can't find the bulb I am looking for on your site A: Ask us for it because we can source virtually any bulb if it's available in the UK.
Q: Do you ship outside the UK? A: No I am sorry but we can only ship to the United Kingdom.
Q: What if I receive broken or wrong bulbs? A: We will replace them - just email customerservice@ebulbshop.com
Q: Where are my bulbs? A: When we despatch your bulbs we give you courier details and tracking numbers so you can check progress through the system.
Q: What is a daylight bulb? A: 'Daylight' bulbs give out a brighter bluer light closer to natural daylight than normal bulbs. Mostly their colour is 6500 Kelvin with a CRI (Colour rendition Index) of 76. Natural sunlight outside on a sunny day is 100 on this scale.
Q: Do you have any local stockists? A: No - our operation is online only.
Q: Can I use energy savers (CFL's) with a dimmer circuit? A: No - Compact Fluorescent energy saving lamps use the same technology as in fluorescent tubes which as you may know need full power all the time to operate correctly.
Q: Can I use energy savers with PIR (Passive Infra red) switches? A: No compact fluorescent lamp likes to be used on PIR fittings, due to the continuous on/off cycles
Q: The bulb you supplied has failed prematurely. A: Send us an email and we'll give you our FREEPOST address to return it for replacement.
Q: Can you tell me what type of headlamp bulb I need for my car? A: Sorry no, have a look in your car handbook for H1, H3, H4, H7 etc
Q: Can I have an account with you? A: We provide a 5% customer discount account to those ordering on a monthly or more basis or have a particularly large order. Email customerservice@ebulbshop.com
Q: Can you supply replacement bulbs for Christmas fairy lights? A: Sorry but no, there are too many different types!
