Megaman energy saving light bulbs only have a mercury content of less than 3mg a first for the energy saving light bulb industry. They are also RoHS compliant (i.e. Restrict Hazardous Substances) - at the heart of the Megaman factory is a lamp tube recycling facility, and a treatment facility for wastewater.
At the end of their life, these energy saving light bulbs should be recycled (easily) at any household recycling site. There is a 15p WEEE charge on these lamps. This is a tax set up to collect revenue to fund the setting up and management of recycling centres. We have included it in the net price of all of our CFL products
